Can you do me a favor?
This is important; Can you all do me a favor?
Hey, I rarely ask any of you for favors, so I wondered if you could take me up on an offer.
My brother last night asked me for something strange. He actually asked me to pray for him. This is extremely rare. So I did, and felt completely moved, and it lead me to ask all of you to pray for him.
Now I want to ask you guys for something else. Even if you don't know him personally, please call him and wish him well. You'd be amazed how faith and an optimistic mentality can have a positive effect in healing. To know that random people are A) Praying for him, or B) Wishing him well, would have a boost in confidence and aid in the pain (which is horrible, trust me).
So I ask that you call the hospital, 305-666-6511. Hit 0 for the operator, and ask for room 210A. They'll connect you. You don't have to say much. Just tell them you know him through me, and that you wish them well and/or you're praying for him. Nothing complicated. Just keep it short and sweet.
