It's Friday.
I don't know if that's good or bad because though it's Friday I don't have a day off for two more days.
Work has been pathetically slow this week. Two nights in a row I went in basically for nothing and left with no more than $14. I don't know if it's the up coming holiday or if it's the supa dupa cold weather but something is keeping people away from PB&E's.
Speaking of the weather... I GOT IN MY FIRST WEST COAST CAR ACCIDENT!! Considering it was only 3 months ago that I started regularly getting rides with people I think that's pretty impressive. It was nothing serious. I was with my scottish friend Lesley. We were going to get some Pho and there was a bit of black ice on an exit ramp bridge thing. (Bridges freeze first.) We slide, hit the concrete safety thing that kept us from going over the edge (that would of been a crazy, if somewhat painful story.) Then we bounced back and pulled over to check the truck out which appeared fine until we started to drive away and the tire was all wobbly like it was flat but it wasn't. When we got out and looked the bottom of the tire was pushed in like this / instead of like | (nice visuals, huh?) Anyway, we both thought it was gonna cost a crazy amount of money but luckily it wasn't frame damage she needed a rotor and a tire replaced.
I got the urge to venture off to distant lands again. I guess it would be distant oceans... not lands... This time I actually emailed the lady who could make it happen. I have an interview set up for next Wednesday at 3p. I'm a bit nervous.
What else is going on? Hmmm... I think I sprained my finger. It really hurts and it is kind of swollen. I have no clue how I did it though.
I got my hair cut on monday. Totally chopped it off. I felt like an idiot because when I went I had laryngitis. But it's not like I was a bit hoarse I had NO voice. At all. I think all the ladies in the salon felt really bad for me, they kept offering to get me tea and other warm throat soothing beverages. I love my hair!! I'm going to get it colored on Monday. I don't know what they're doing because it's a training class thing. Kind of like I did last year, only these people are much nicer.
