tonight ive basically got the evening off since i finished all my work around 3pm yesterday *WIN* but now im just sitting around trying to find work to do and organizing my week/months. speaking of! its almost april which means its national poetry month!! *STOKED* i just have to figure out how i'm going to part-take this year...ohhh maybe i will do something with art!!! *ponders*
anyway my lifes been pretty chill lately. last week clayton had that hiccup with his thumbdrive but honestly, i feel that that may actually have been a weird stroke of luck. See he lost it, but still got the entire project done. did i mentino he lost it monday and it was due thursday? yeah. champ. so thursday his prof while doing critiques he gets to clays and he says TO THE WHOLE FUCKING CLASS: "Now, Clayton had some bad luck and lost his thumbdrive, so just disregard this cuz this is only what he could get done in the past four days but i saw his the other 2/3rds of what he'd done and it was A level work but this is probably B level." 0.0!!! i freaked. that meant that Nick (the prof) knew just how good Claytons work was but now the whole class knows too, plus anybody who gets a B on the project will think that their weeks worth of effort is only as good as Claytons 4 day effort...LIKE BAM!!! So Nick told clayton to work on it over the weekend and meet with him today...OMG MOST EPIC MEETING EVER!! I was sitting outside bouncing in my seat trying not to squeee with joy!! Basically what happened is Clayton went in and Nick just started to talk. he said that he wasnt going to fail clayton becuase of dumbluck, that he knew clayton would make a great graphic designer, offered him a job there in the fall doing graphic desin for the Uni which would count towards workstudy AND bc clays local he could work there over the summer too, that clay should get the 3 pieces of the project to him as he finishes them but to do it after/ before class or just via email bc others in the class still owed work but were not getting such a leniant submission since he had seen clays work but there's and then said that if clay handed in his work and it was A level nick would have ot doc him a bit so instead it'd be A-.......I NEARLY DIED!!! THis is exaclty the kind of thing that Clayton needed! He needed a break like this, he needed somebody to recognize him and give him an nice time with something!! FINALLY!!! and not just that, but how AMAZING is it that his PROFESSOR, the head of HIS MAJOR DEPARTMENT said those things to him?!?! LIKE WOW!!! I am so happy and so proud of him!!
me personally i'm very content with life at the moment. Sure my body is adjusting to the extra levels of estrogen now being intro'd to my system (thank you the pill, thank you xD) so ive been extra emotional in varying ways of late. Sad, horny, snuggly, self-concious etc etc. The self-concious thing has been building for a while though, ever since NYC with my sister or possibly before that. Just little things building up, sisters comments, jokes at school, my roommates boyfriend being a douhce and making weird comments about weight to her, and just residual bad self image feelings. they kinda blew up last night and clay and i had a really deep moment....get this. he had fallen asleep and i was nodding off but then just got hit with how i was feeling and tears just started to fall silently. a few moments later clayton stirrs and then rolls over and confronts me. Turns out, he stirred but felt how heavy his heart was and knew something was wrong with me. WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!? WHO IS CONNECTED LIKE THAT!?!?! really, like really?! Im both so moved to happiness about that and grossed out cuz thats sooo typical romance novel xD but in all honesty, i cried when he said that. unbelievable unfathomable amounts of love for him.
also, ive decided that the memoir i'm writing is going to be sent to Sam, who its kinda about. I think she needs to know the truth, or at the least deserves to know it. That should be interesting. other than that, lifes still rocking =)
