Funny how the small things count
Just said to a friend of mine in an IM: "I'm so excited to be going to this concert but i'm kinda sad to be leaving home."
I called my Uni, home.
And as odd as it is for me to think about it, its true. This place really has become my home. My life is here. My friends are here (well most of my RL friends anyway =p) My love is here. my laughs are here. my tears are here. my madness is here. my happiness is here. my family, is here.
It just happend so fast that it astounds me a bit. I mean i figured eventually i'd feel that way about this place, but not after mere weeks.
Well either way. I love having a place to finally call home.
Other news: I GET FUCKING SEE THE STREET DOGS PERFORM TWICE TOMORROW!!! AN ACCOUSTIC SET AND A FULL ON CONCERT!!! OMG ITS BEEN WAY TO LONG AND THEY HAVE A NEW ALBUM AND JUST OMG OMG *MASSIVE FLAILING AND SPAZZING FIT*
so yeah at some point today my sister is comign to get me and i'm staying at her place for the weekend. tomorrow we're going up to nyc and seeing the concert and then she's bringing me back soemtime on sunday! =D
