Uni is great. I went to a rave last night, had insane amounts of fun. came back to my dorm early, spent the night with clayton, amazing. i think i could fall for this kid im just...i dont know. i have so many hesitiations that have been beat into me by my past experiences that i cant seem to shake them but at the same time as i sit here typing this and he lays on my bed playing his guitar i just feel so right with the world. but thats a rant for a time when he's not here...but yeah. i love life here. my work load is fine for the moment. next weekend i get to see the Street Dogs :D and even though it sucks that Sanctuary's not coming back now until Oct. 15th, i think friday is a better day for me for it to be becuase then i dont have to worry about hw or anything....i just have to dtich my bf for my fandom lmao xD
on a more somber note, i'm not the religious type but i know a lot of people are, so do me a favor. dont pray today. and yes i mean dont pray. today is September 11th so i bet a lot of you were expecting me to say "oh pray for my country...pray for those we lost....pray for the world" nope. dont pray. i mean 2001 was a year that could have held so much hope and promise, ie Clarke and Kubrick....and now it will forever be marred by hatred that a lot of this world has seen fit to endure, spread, and accept. Don't pray today. Just don't do it. becuase i'm sorry, but im sick and tired of what bullshit that it incites around the world. religion has really gotten us nowhere but farther apart from each other and this planet. we identify, stereotpye, judge, and reject people based on which religion they practice, or dont practice, or based on religious teachings. That can just not be the right way to through life treating each other!! im sorry if this offends or shocks you but thats just how i feel about it. Maybe instead of doing prayer your way, educate yourself about another religion and try praying like them. thinking like them. just for a day. or just let it go altogether. just for one day. then you can feel free to return to your ways.
