Wouldn't it actually be nice if I posted on more of a regular basis? Yah! That's gonna happen.
Been a long week. It had been a great week until Saturday afternoon. I don't know exactly what happened but the weigh of the world finally collapsed on my shoulders. I just got to the point where I couldn't handle it any further. I'm tired of everything being my job and responsibility. I told Steve this also. I just can't take it most days. I'm trying to find Child care for next semester, find a topic and write the paper for Marketing, do the other homework, watch kids, transport kids, cook, clean, deal with stuff going on at the YMCA, Boy Scouts & Treasurer position, Cub scouts, book club, jazz band, etc. Some day's it is just to much and I don't seem to ever have time for myself.
We had a nice Halloween, it was quiet though. Didn't get out as much as I would have liked. It wasn't as much fun though since the boys were at their party, K was at school and Steve was working, but it went ok.
Wednesday I didn't have class because my instructor had a meeting he had to go to. It was nice just going to work and coming home. I worked until 1pm (an hour later than planned) but I had a good shift. Pete was in a good mood and we talked a bit as well as feeling as I was accomplishing something for a change. Came home and actually had a couple of hours to myself. WOW. I didn't really get to enjoy it as I had to eat, go shopping and do a couple of other things. However, it was ok.
Friday Steve and I went Christmas shopping / looking. We did get some done and have a dent in it. We want to get it all done before Thanksgiving if at all possible. I'm not sure how we are going to accomplish it money wise and time wise. However, we are working on it. We did go out to eat at the new Applebees here in Sanford. I found that they have a corner display representing the fire department. At least some of the pictures on the wall were taken by dad. I think most of them were his.
Today was a better day. Kerry helped me some with my research paper. K has returned to school. S jr. is grounded for not getting his work done at a decent amount of time. That is pretty much the day. Sadly I go back to the grind tomorrow and I'm not ready.
