Hills and Valleys
It sure was a rough spot.
I just got a promotion at work. I now have the same position I left at my last job. Permanency. Insurance. 10 vacation days a year. Actually a better salary. BUT - days are stricly cut off at 8 hours, and there is virtually no commute. So same benefits, with none of the drawbacks. I can't believe it happened to me.
I just finished my second run through level 3 at IOWest. My teacher gave me a great assessment of my progress. I felt very good. The thing is, I think I've been doing the same thing all along. The difference is, I got over some fear and have been far more relaxed in class. But still. The compliments are still making me feel pretty good.
Lots of other good things. So many to try to list. All I can do is be thankful that for now, I get a respite from the struggling.
