DISPATCH returns to Boston for 7.31 Anniversary Weekend
Yo DISPATCH Nation!
We know it’s been a while... and it’s likely that you thought you wouldn’t hear from us ever again. Braddigan, Chetro, and Repete’s epic final show last summer in Boston came and went - and exceeded all of our expectations. DISPATCH Reps rallied the troops - fans from their touring days, college kids who downloaded the band’s complete catalog off Napster, and diehards who finally got the chance to see their favorite band perform live - and independent music history was made on 7.31.04 at the Hatch Shell. And while the band took their final bow, for many of us, there still were questions left unanswered.
That is, until now...

In the final weeks leading up to The Last Dispatch, acclaimed director Helmut Schleppi and his crew filmed every move Brad, Chad, and Pete made... from writing the new songs in their rehearsal barn and the studio where they recorded “Bang Bang” to a late-night acoustic session in Chad’s living room, two warm-up shows at the historic Somerville Theatre, and then finally the Hatch on the Charles River in Boston... the feature-length documentary film “last DISPATCH” captures the raw emotion of a band truly living their dream - and doing it their own way. Without any help of the industry, DISPATCH shocked the music world. And guess what - we’re about to do it again!
