closing this journal
As of this weekend, this journal will be closed and all personal posts will be deleted. The fic will stay - and anyone who is interested can read to their heart's content. I hope future readers enjoy what's here as much as my past readers have.
I thank you, everyone in Smallville fandom, for all of your love, support and faithful readership these past few years. You have all meant more to me than I could ever say. I'll never forget my time with you all...many wonderful memories and people extremely dear to me have come from it. However, since I no longer watch the show, and have no interest in writing fic anymore, I need to put kdsch123 behind me for good.
Those of you who are personal friends, I'll be sending you notices of a new journal I'll be opening as I can that will be non fandom related and strictly friends only. If you're interested in being included on that list, please reply to this post. If not, I wish you all very well and very happy. :) There are others, and I think you know who you are, that I expressly hope will not reply here now. I once hoped my retirement from fandom would be connected to you for happy reasons, namely sharing a life and our children. I guess I was right to believe it would have to do with you, but the circumstances escaped me.
Thank you again, f-list. It's been a wonderful ride and I wouldn't trade it for all the world.
