YAY!!!!!
I'm back. The laptop started up this morning - a little slowly - but it's up and running! So, thank you everyone for your thoughts and kind words last night and this morning!! omega31, you are the only person other than the boys I will ever sit on a cold tile floor to talk to. *hand over my heart* I promise you that. Thank you for being my reason to not smash my cellphone last night when the battery kept dying, and thank you for being one of my best happy thoughts. :) laurelnola, I'm going to work on imitating an Italian accent for you, because you DESERVE to hear one after that sample you left me. You are too much! I laughed and laughed when I saw that post you left.
Okay, last night? I had six heart attacks in the first three seconds after I dropped the glass I was holding. Which is what happened - I had a glass of iced tea that I picked up to drink from and next thing I knew it was all over my laptop. The glass was slick from the ice melting and just slipped out of my hand. It was a big mess, other than the computer, believe me.
I still haven't checked to see if Word managed to auto save the original story I was working on yet. I have been more concerned about the computer working..which it does!! I'm still going to call Dell and have them come out to check it anyway, just for fun.
So, Sunday is better than I thought it was going to be. :)
