(no subject)
i'm bored and i feel like updating but i don't really have anything to write right now. i saw coach carter with the team today, that was fun. anyway i decided that i'm just going to post this really random paragraph i wrote for english. i can't decide if i like it, i just kind of bullshitted it during history. i had to write something creative about the word "iridescent" which is derived from "iris" who is the greek personification of the rainbow. this is what i came up with...
I live among the light beams. I am projected as colors through windowpanes, in puddles, in the waves, and across the sky. I have my meals in the sunny atmosphere of the yellows, and I sleep in the comfort of the soft blue tones. In my anger the red grows brighter, in my sadness the violet grows deeper. I find serenity in green, and excitement in orange. I am Iris, goddess of the rainbow - a role that seems much more luxurious than it feels. I am plain to look at, not much to notice compared to the unfathomable beauty of my home. I do not have cascading waves of golden hair, or perfect alabaster skin. I am simply a messenger of the gods; I slide down my rainbow and I serve my superiors. I dance across the walls alone, waiting for a shimmer of sunlight to reveal the iridescent colors that I know so well.
i like writing, and i like random semi-creative things that come out of nowhere. i can't tell if this is absolutely ridiculous or if it makes sense... what do you think?
