I Was Almost Famous For Almost a Day...
Whoo hoo...last time I updated was June 27th...that was a looooooong time ago, and so much has happened since then!
On June 28th I started my job at the Parkwood Heights nursing home :o
I know...me working is a scary thing...especially since it requires me to be a waitress
So I worked June 29th as well...and I also have to work 5 freaking days in a row this week.
Last night I did really bad because I had my own section, and like 5 old people yelled at me haha that was really interesting
annnnnnnnnd Meghan Patrice Quirk turned 16 on June 30th!
I called her in the morning and she wasn't home but I left a very chipper message...
and then meg called me back to tell me she got the flowers I sent herrr
yay!
and then on the same day as meg's bday, I left for Maryland with Kirst's family!! ahhhh that was sooo much fun. It took a really long time to get to Annapolis though, 10 hoursss! But it was good all the same, we just watched a bunch of dvd's on the way down.
So Day 1 was mostly driving...
Day 2: we went into Annapolis and took a super duper fun trolley tour ride with this driver who was very odd and kept laughing at his own jokes...but then later we went to the naval acadamy (mostly for Nick) and then just wandered around...later we went in the pool/hot tub and that was fun
Day 3: we left for Virginia! but it was really rainy so we couldn't go to va beach :( but we went in the under water tunnel! whooo hooo! We stayed at Kirst's aunt and uncle's house and they were really nice. and kirsten's cousin, Madeline, is our age so that was cool too. She taught us a really addicting game called ERS and as Kirsten puts it: she "bred" us haha
Day 4: BUSCH GARDENS!!! I think me and kirst went on almost every single ride...and we went on all the rollercoasters of course. and for lunch we ate in "Germany" and one of the weird dancer people made me go on stage to be serenaded to and that was quite interesting...and meanwhile Nick and Kevin had to dance with some other lady, and when we left she told them to stop by to see her later ; ) hahaha, oh and they kept saying yoo hoo which was really annoying, so me and kevin started to do it lol....I definitely want to go back to busch gardens some day- I x3ed it!
Day 5: JULY 4th! we went to the parade and we then hung out for a bit and had lunch...then later we went to Williamsburg and we went in all the little shops...but Madeline and I got in trouble for trying on these expensive imported cloaks...haha that was funny. we also went in this huge candy shop and I bought a ton of stuff including bertie botts every flavored beans...then we were all trying the different flavors and ear wax and vomit are by far the most disgusting...earthworm sounds gross too, but i thought i ate one of those and liked it...but then kirsten told me I mistook it for a grape flavored one haha oh well. then later we watched the FIREWORKS! that was really fun, because we were so close to them that after they went off some of the paper and fuzzy stuff would fall on us. After Williamsburg, we went back to Kirst's cousin's house and we did Sparklers and that was really fun...then we tried to stay awake and watch Miss Congeniality 2 but that didn't work
Day 6: We woke up at 6:30 - the earliest I have woken up all summer - and we got ready to drive home...we left at 7 and then we got home at 5, so we made good time on the way home
Ahhh it was so fun, and I'm sad it's over
Now this week i have to work forever, but my cousin Sophie is coming over tomorrow :) yay! she's 7 and she's so cute
And then next week i have to work AND go to that sat prep camp (yuck)
But then on july 22nd i leave for ocean city, maryland yayyy
