1962 is the year that George Lucas set American Graffiti. A more innocent time, right before the turbulent 60's happened.

recently came across a 1961 National Geographic with an article about a nuclear plant in arctic ice tunnels, that really blew me away. Turned out the idea wasn't so great because the ice shifts several inches each year...
