(no subject)
i'm quite eager for this year to end, but first...
today...i woke up super late. i think my body needed it. i've been pushing myself too hard lately...and school's over with! i don't know what i do that drains me out other than thinking too much. whatever.
i was finally able to find a copy of the return of the kind extended edition dvd at best buy today. that made me a happy boy, but i still can't find a copy of the sin city special edition dvd. oh well, one movie at a time. i've become dvd-crazy now that i can play them without worrying about my ps2 exploding. the other day i picked up slc punk and, get this, the dvd case was wrapped in a leather jacket! isn't that insane?! it was ten bucks at hot topic. it might not be the best movie in the world, but you can't beat that.
as some of you might have read in a myspace bulletin i posted, a number of us went to go to an obscure diner up route 23 north to have a rebellion of sorts against the sexual harrassment of a girl i know that work(ed) there. unfortunately, we (vic, nina, kobe, and myself) congregated too late and missed the action, as we got there an hour late. apparently the girl i know let her boss have it, and she quit. what we wanted to do is intimidate the boss by a great show of numbers...leave him something to remember. apparently he has harrassed many of the waitresses working there who have quit due to him recently.
the four of us got there late, so we missed the action. called up dank and found that they all migrated to the pompton queen. so, we went there instead. got to see nicole (the girl we did this for) and her friend george for a couple minutes. she was glad i came as she wanted a picture of me. george wants to jam out and start a band, so i might collaborate. also at the diner were dank, nick hernandez, alan, bob (blaze's brother), and a guy named joe, and maybe a couple others. although they all didn't stay very long, jenna joined us later. it was a good time.
tomorrow is new years eve. i'm working til 9:00. after work, i'm going to kira's house in west milford along with vic and jenna to celebrate the coming of the new year. jamison and others will be there. it should be enjoyable!
i'm beginning to think i have some kind of strange foresight ability. last night, that girl nicole was in my dream, though i don't remember what happened in it, and when i woke up, i found a message she sent me about the rebellion. also, yesterday i was thinking about kira's birthday/halloween party at her house a couple months back for no real reason, and then later on that day i get invited to go over there for new years. i've only been there once before, so that's kind of odd. it just may be coincidence, but this kind of thing has happened several times before.
...anyway, time to start watching return of the king!
