(no subject)
today was much better than the past few days before it.
got lunch with paloma and exchanged gifts. she got me a nice box-o-chocolates and volume 3 of kanji de manga, which will be extremely helpful for me in learning/remembering kanji. she also gave me a bottle of plum wine that she wasn't too fond of. we went to a chinese buffet place in kinnelon by the pathmark and movie theater over there. went into the pathmark to see if matt hixson or adam streicher were working, but neither were. i did, however, see dank from afar as he was making pizza at the pizzaria attached to the pathmark. i left him a creepy text message.
then paloma and i went to jenna's to tutor her for her japanese oral exam on the 10th. we still have a ways to go, but got enough done for one day. we had to cut it short because jenna forgot, as she tends to do, some appointment for something. so i dropped paloma home.
then i went out to eat dinner with my family. we went to golden sakura for some japanese hibachi goodness. i ate too much today.
after that, i picked up vic and went to meet nick and jackie at fair lawn lanes for some bowling action. after a long wait, we played three games. i did awesome, by my standards, in the first game, but horrible on the other two. it was fun, though. we went to the coach house diner afterwards til about 2:00 am. good times.
i'm exhausted. tomorrow i have off with no plans and no obligations. i'm looking forward to that. vic and i might visit joe kerns at his starbucks, maybe. and maybe we'll hang out with nina and kim, too.
...so much for being reclusive...i still may though. i'm thinking it might be healthy for me.
