(no subject)
school
mis is finished. the presentation went well and the final was ridiculous. i finished it in five minutes, and i'm brutally honest when i say that. two classes officially finished. the semester will end for my on tuesday. all that's left is the econ paper/presentation, the stats final (which is done at home and submitted through email), and my geo final. i'm also waiting for one of the deans to contact me back on sneaking me into a class i should take next semester.
japan trip
yesterday i met with watanabe-sensei to discuss this summer's japan trip. i've decided to take the independent study class since i'm too advanced to take the language course they have planned. my japanese language ability should improve exponentially by the time i come back from it. i'll have to interview japanese people as well...in japanese. this is going to be a challenge.
the only issue here is paying for the trip. the only way i can really do this is through financial aid. watanabe gave me the email address of the person that can help me with that. i contacted her as soon as i got home, but she hasn't responded yet. time is ticking.
christmas and dinering
today i got alot of christmas shopping out of the way. i just have a few people left to take care of. the most difficult, that is. went to six brothers with kobe, vic, and jenna. it was somewhat relaxing for me for some reason. nicole farnestock and her friend megan were there, too, which was strange considering that they're from ringwood. it was good to see them, though. i started teaching jenna the katakana writing system. vic, kobe, and i drew all wierd stuff. our waitress was new. she kinda looks like jenny lewis twenty years from now. she was nice, i like her. albert showed up back from the navy. he likes it. it was good to see him.
music
vic and i are discussing a stupid, fun musical project in which we cover crass and subhumans songs. we're actually seriously thinking about doing this. it should be ridiculous if it happens.
