(no subject)
I really do enjoy the older kids that I teach. I have 6th and 5th grade today. Even though they are a little sassy at times, I feel that I can connect more with them. I think that it is just the mentality that an older child has. I can let them do a little more without having to spend so much time on instruction. For instance, I don't have to coddle them as they fill out their class work, I can just let them do it at their own pace and have them get it done. I can also joke around with them and have them get my sarcasm. The sarcasm just sort of goes over the head of the younger ones.
On a more personal stressful note - Scapino! is killing me. I am going to have a hell of a time trying to memorize all the stuff that is going on. I have about a billion lines and each line has some sort of movement with it. Not to mention all the prop movement. It is going to be hard. The show is awesome, as is my part - it just going to be really hard. It's a workout. So pray for me if you can.
New info - I'm going to Las Vegas for spring break. It is going to be really cool. I have never been there. My parents and I are going to stay at the Flamingo, which is right across the street from Ceaser's Palace. We are going to see Penn and Teller one night and then Danny Gans another night. Awesome.
