(no subject)
Well, I am sitting here and waiting for my first class to arrive - those pesky little 6th graders. But please don't worry about my sanity, today is my easy day. The other days of the week boast anywhere from 7 to 9 classes a day. Today I have a whopping 6. I find this quite relaxing for a Wednesday. It also helps not to have Monday.
Well, today we are talking about Instruments. We will start the day off with the kids listing all the instruments that they know. This will give me an idea about what we do and don't know. I'll probably give them 10 min. for this. Then we are going to watch about 20 min. of Blast! During the movie, their job is to circle all the instruments from the video, that they have on their list. So this should be a pretty laid back day.
Scapino! is puttering along. It is still kicking my butt. The lines are coming along pretty good, I should be done soon. I only have two big parts left to memorize. One of them is huge, and has some audience participation - so that will be the hard one. I am going to try and use my free time today to work on lines.
Florida Update: Chris, Erin and I are still planning the move to the Orlando Area. Yesterday I got an update from Rent.com, and they sent me info on some really kick butt places. I am really excited to get down there. This coldness is starting to get a little too cold. Not to mention that I have Disney on the brain. I just want to get down there and start working. Lauren is down doing the college program right now, and I am extrememly Jealous. I am happy for her too, but I wish that I could be down there - I just have so many fond memories. Not to mention that I will be going down there, just when Lauren is leaving. Bummer.
Okay, here is a funny question. Not to mention I need an ego booster right now. Feeling kind of down.
