A Great Saturday!

While I'm waiting for my pictures to upload to Photobucket, I'll write for a bit. Yesterday was nice. While I didn't get much done around the house other than scooping the litter boxes, sweeping and sorting/starting the laundry, as well as running some errands, we had a great evening at my sister's. Tree's friend Candy went with us. Her grandma dropped her off after a girl scout garage sale/swim party. She was pretty burnt so we gave her some aloe lotion. We ate pizza and ice cream, drank beer and rum, watched movies and went for a walk. We watched a bunny collect grass from my sister's yard. The kids got along great and ate popcorn while they watched their movie, The Black Cauldron. We saw the movie with Johnny Knoxville where he pretends to be mentally challenged (forget the name) and Date Movie. The best thing about that movie is the scene with Jinx the Cat inspired by both Meet The Fockers and Dumb and Dumber. I could not stop laughing. Baby Kalie rolled over for the first time and I got to see it! She is so sweet. My sister wants us to go to Broad Ripple sometime. She used to go there all the time in high school, but I've only driven through on my way to the art or writers' centers. If I get my tattoo, it will probably be at a shop there with a good reputation. She regrets her tattoo, so she told me to be sure that I really want it. Which, I told her, I really do. I have two designs of a Celtic cat and winged cat which I want to use for inspiration, and I think I want the colors to be winter ones like black, silver, grey, purple, green and blue. Maybe the artist can help me figure out whether two subtle colors like black and silver (or grey) would be better, or if it would look okay with a mixture of colors. This is all new to me, so I don't know. Sis thinks I'm nuts for wanting to get a tattoo and dye my hair black. Stormie doesn't care. He says that I have to live with my choices. But that's the important thing right there. I'm making my own choices and not listening to what others say, something I've learned only within the last few years. Of course, I know I can't get the purple streaks like I want (not a good choice for a law office!) and I'll have to get the tattoo someplace where I can conceal it, but you have to make compromises. Oh great! The pics are finished. There's a video too. I'll put them in my next entry.
