I'm an aunt again!!!
My little sister had her second baby today around Noon. Kalie Marie came into the world with a cute little head, dark hair (which she'll probably lose like big brother) and dark eyes. She was 8 pounds 1 ounce and 20 inches long. I spoke with my sister for a few minutes. She's tired but relieved. The C-section took only about 45 minutes. My brother-in-law sounded happy. My nephew got to see his new little sister today and is taking her footprints to school tomorrow. We're going to visit everyone at the hospital on Friday night. I haven't seen her, but I heard a little cry on the phone! *squee* I bought her a memory plate from the Irish Shop today. It has little babies, shamrocks, an Irish blessing/prayer, and a pen where you can fill in her birth information. I thought about buying a little sweater, but she would outgrow that. They can keep the plate forever.
