Avari, our new kitten
This is Avari. She was born on April 21, 2007. We had planned to adopt her before we even knew that Nomad was sick. She's named after a 16th Century Hungarian nomadic tribe. We wanted to name her something that would honor Nomad's memory. Interestingly, Avari is also the name of a fictional race of elves invented by J.R.R. Tolkein. So...get ready for cuteness!
