I can't get over today's Full Moon. She gazed at me lovingly with her white face this morning as I took out the trash. During the drive to work, she looked huge, as if she were a gigantic balloon floating down into the Indianapolis skyline and fading as the rising sun blazed in my rearview mirror. Tonight she was yellowish-orange, with clouds attempting to cloak her beauty, but the winds blew the cover away. This month she needed to be seen, by the world, the city, and little ol' me. She gives me hope that this year will be better than the last.
Stormie is home now. Tired, feet blistered, fever and cold...but home. I'm happy he's here, so this entry will be short.
Darkly Dreaming Dexter came in the mail today. It was a prize from some random contest I entered online. I have to pick up Dearly Devoted Dexter from the library tomorrow. I love Dexter. October is a long time to wait, but we had to wait about seven month for Battlestar, so I can handle it. I think.
I start my fiction class on Monday, but the bookstore hasn't listed the books yet. I have the money but am anxious. I like to be prepared. I walked to campus today to find the classroom. Hope this one is as much fun as the poetry class. One of my friends is taking the class, so that will be nice.
Gotta' go - in the literal sense - so tata for now. Who said that? If nobody knows, please remind me. My memory is bad. Good night, happy new year and enjoy the wonderful, fat, round full moon!
