Mayakovsky
As he mailed the book, Hamm's voice was heard reciting from one of the poems, "Mayakovsky" (named for the Russian poet Vladimir Mayakovsky). The recitation included the lines, "Now I am quietly waiting for the catastrophe of my personality to seem beautiful again, and interesting, and modern."
