So, on to the job thing. G has applied for 4 jobs now for next season and has not gotten interviews for any of them. His resume is fantastic and very impressive. I can only think that his age has something to do with it because I cant imagine another reason why he wouldnt even get an interview. You need to remind me of what exactly it is that G does. I want to say it has something to do with golf, am I right? If so, a teacher my mom works with has a son that's a golf pro in VA and he might have some ideas/suggestions/contacts. Plus another friend here online, her husband's family used to own a golf course in FL so I can ask him for ideas/suggestions too if you'd like.

I could be totally dreaming that golf is what G's field is in and if I'm wrong please don't be mad, I'm drawing a blank.

no of course i'm not mad and you're right. G is a golf pro and looking for a head professional position. we're hoping to move anywhere from Philly and north on the east coast. do you know these people well enough to ask if they've heard of any openings in our target area?

My mom knows the guy's mother well enough to ask, she works with her every single day and they know more about eachoter's personal lives then they know about their own probably. I will ask her tonight (if we talk) or I'll ask her when I see her tomorrow. I might take the kids up to her school tomorrow if we get in at a decent time and I could ask the woman myself (her son lives with her right now with both of his children -- he and his wife are splitting up and he has custody of the kids) so getting any info shouldn't be too hard.

I will email my friend and see if her husband knows of anything. He's kind of removed from that stuff but who knows who he knows, right?
