the capsule wardrobe
I read this: http://www.xojane.com/clothes/project-33-capsule-wardrobe last week and I've been thinking about it ever since. I've been working to clean up and declutter my house. An uphill battle since no one else seems really interested in my resolution to put the house in physical order... But one of the things I did in my declutter was actually take the bags of 'to donate' clothes from the bottom of my closet and donate them.
I keep coming back to this streamline wardrobe idea. While I own a ton of clothing, I really wear very little and am endless frustrated by the clothes that just sit.
Now, I could never get down to 33 items, especially if it was supposed to include shoes and accessories. I mean, that's madness. But I wouldn't mind paring down. Just trying to figure out how to do it.
Ideas?
