These are my drama journals!!!!!!!
Week One:
Im actually excited for drama. This class seems like alot of fun. Mr. Blaney is really nice. I hope that in this class I will get to come out of my box more. I'm usually quiet and I hope to become louder. THis shoould be one of my favorite classes this year. I CAN'T WAIT!!!
Week Two:
I started to get comfortable around everyone this week. They are all really nice. We tried the machine activitie. We had to practice working together. At first is was hard but as we prgresses it got much easier.
Week Three:
This week we came up with those long things that are hard to say. I forgot what they are called though. :( Butg it was alot fo fun. Mine was Gabe grabs Gracies greasy grubb. Yes Gabe is Gabe from Cobra Starship. Lol. VIVA LA COBRA IS OUT IN A COUPLE DAYS. Drama was alot of fun this week.
Week Four:
GIBBERISH!!!! We need to act out a skit in gibberish. Well, to make it even more difficult, Ashley Brandon and I decided to make it a musical. Well, that didnt work out to well but it was still alot of fun. I realzid that I need to work on improvising alot more.
Week Five:
We started singing. I was fine at first but when it came time to perform I was nervous. I ened up dropping the song I was gonna sing (Bad Day by Daniel Powter) and sang with Kendra and Nicole. We sang "You are the music in me" from High School Musical. It sounded really good. I was surprised how well our voices blened together. I'm actually excited for the next time we sing.
Week Six:
MIrror. This week we did the mirror exercise. It was alot of fun but kind of hard. I kept laughing while mirroring KC. I now know that i really need to work on controlling my laughter. When it comes to being a mirror you really have to pay attention to what your partner is doing. If you dont it will look messed up.
Week Seven:
This week we did a character walk. It was alot of fun. For practicing I was Pete Wentz. I thought it would be easy but it was hard. I acted like I was playing the guitar and spun around. For the class assignment I was Nicole. She has a kind of normal walk so it wasnt that hard to be her. Caleb was me and informed me on how I walk. I didnt think I walked like that but I now realize that i do... owell
