For the one or two of you who read here but not facebook:
I hate it when that happens!
In this case it's my own fault, I found the problem several days ago, and I fixed it today.
We've had a shop of sorts in the barn since we moved in in 2000. The barn has never been rain tight. It is also mostly dirt floor, with a small area of concrete. I had a nice bench mounted drill press set up on a nice wooden workbench against one wall. Unbeknownst to me, the back legs were off the concrete, in the dirt, against the East wall for years! They rotted, which explains why the bench we developing a list. When I wanted to move the drill and bench into the Freight House, last week I found the rot. Not a happy camper! Today I sawed off the rotten part of the legs and built up replacements, moved the bench into the Freight House and remounted the drill press. Yea! Hopefully, the electrical contractor will get power to the building early next week.
In other Freight House news, I've been slowly moving stuff out of the garage, barn, and basement and into the Freight House. Each batch of "stuff" is actually going into something resembling a proper storage space. I have a feeling the "Man Cave" is going to be above ground soon. I'm thinking this computer, all the radio gear, and all the modeling stuff will end up out there. Not sure what we'll do with the basement after that, but I'll bet we find something.
