my friend megan is coming into town this weekend to visit. we are both single (all but one of our other friends are dating) and she told me that her aunt, who is a psychotherapist, suggested that she make a list of 100 qualities that she'd want in a man. she said that after megan makes this list, a guy will come into her life.
now, i love psychology, minored in it, it totally fascinates me and all that... but does anyone else out there think this is bullshit? it sounds like some weird tarot card reading or a chain email letter that says "ZOMG PASS THIS ON TO 100 PPL AND YOU WILL INSTANTLY MEET YOUR DREAM HUNK!!!!!!!!!"
i mean, seriously, i understand that organizing your thoughts and seeing things on paper instead of in your head can help your thought processes and all that, but she's making it sound like it's some sort of fucking miracle.
...maybe i've just gotten bitter and cynical? hahaha.
either way, im gonna make a goddamn list when megan gets here later. she's already got 33, and she's stuck. but what could it hurt? im rather bored these days anyway... and let's face it, i miss being in love. unrequited love fucking sucks. :P
