It's too cold outside to do anything. I just want to sit in my room (the warmest in the house, downstairs) and eat banana peppers out of the jar.
How are things? School started, again. This is my TENTH semester at Centenary. We had Homecoming nominations today, and I didn't know ANYBODY (except Seth, whom I voted for. Haha). It's not my fault I've always hung out with the older kids.
Anyway, the break was pretty great. We had a great party on New Year's, not too many people but lots of drinkin and general craziness. I worked ALL last week at the lab, so maybe I can pay off some of those bills from xmas that I spent too much on. School is pretty good, too. Here's some neat stuff that's going on with me:
(1). Taking 18 hours in your last semester (number 10, did I say that?) = not such a good idea. Do-able, but not advisable, even if two are independent studies and one is Spanish with a prof that doesn't speak English (or at least pretends not to) and lets you color and play Bingo in class.
(2) Started working in the President's Office to help fill in while JStrange is having a baby. Writing letters to people I've never met posing as someone I am not is completely fun.
(3)Applied to another really selective grad school program in a state that is too far away.
(4) Seth bought a Wii. OMG it's so much fun. And it makes your muscles sore, which makes it feel like it's sort of good for you. My Wii fitness age is 51 (after 2 days).
(5) The Saints are totally kicking ass and no one can believe it.
(6)Kristin's wedding is less than a month, so I'm working out lots, which feels really great.
(7)Valentine's Day is coming and it's my 2nd favorite holiday even though/because it's so cheesy (chocolatey).
The list form was totally unnecessary.
Good/Really Good Movies you should see while I'm thinking about it:
Children of Men
The Lady in the Water
A Scanner Darkly
Little Miss Sunshine
Cars
Deliverance
Um, new American Idol starts tonight, but you already knew that and set it to DVR, right?
