NaNoWriMo Update
Okay, so I'm a little better than half behind where you should be by today. 9k compared to 16k. I still don't think it's that bad. After all, I don't write well at home. Too many distractions. Plus, I wasn't feeling well. Also, I'd forgotten to update on Friday, which got me up to 6k. I wrote 3k today, so that's a good pace. If I can keep that up, which is double what you should write a day, I will be on track to catch up at some point. However, there is the fact that I'm not sure what I'm going to write. I finally figured out how to pad this thing. I wrote Ray's opening, which is very different from the one Vandal Skye wrote, mainly because I had to add Ray and his thoughts. I did use a bit of his story. I still have Cesar's to write. I got a bit of an idea of how to start it. There's going to be a lot of cursing in that section.
If anyone wishes to see how I've written your character's intro, just let me know and I'll send it to you. And no, Carina's isn't the longest. The longest is T-Bone with 831 words. The others average 500-600 words. Not bad. Well, except Sam and Pierre are shortest, just over 200 each. It's just a brief look at what happens to all of them. I'm working on the meeting at Red Mountain right now. It's coming along all right.
