Okay, this is ridiculous. Gas prices rising from 50 cents to multiple dollars in a twelve hour period. All because of a hurricane. Uh, isn't that called PRICE GOUGING??
Seriously, if you see a gas station that has prices that are too high, go to
this web site and report them. Governor Easley is actually supporting this. I hope they all get heavy fines for taking out the fact that they may run out of gas on the public and creating a panic. I swear. I know I wasn't that old in the 70's, but I do remember waiting in line to get gas with my parents. But with the attitude people have these days, and the fact that so many people carry guns in their vehicles now, there are going to be a lot of shootings and beatings because of gas prices. They are saying they're going to stay up high for the next 3-4 months until the refineries get back online. But what about here? We have a larger percentage of the refineries, too. Why don't they just increase production here in NC? I don't understand them sometimes.
