(no subject)
I ran over my first animal yesterday. It was a little vole and I didn't see it until too late. Maybe it escaped, but it looked like certain death to me.

I got the job I applied for with the Royal River Youth Conservation Corps. It deals mostly with erosion control in riparian zones (yeah that's right, I learned a new word). But I just realized that I really don't like wet areas because creepy crawly slimy things live there. I'm going to be a one-woman freak out show this summer.

I really want the US to do well in the World Cup. US soccer is finally getting more recognition in the world and it would be such a momentum killer if we get eliminated in the first round. We just need to beat Italy (not likely) and Ghana, and have the Czech Republic beat Italy and it doesn't really matter what happens in the Czech-Ghana game. US VS. ITALY--SATURDAY 11 AM ABC watch it watch it!

I've decided to become a man-hating folk singer.

Middlebury would be my absolute first-choice college if I thought I could play on the soccer team. Everything about the school sounds awesome, but they have so many people who want to play soccer that they even cut from JV. Sad face.
