Final Party Planning Post!

We are three days out from our Holiday Party.  It starts at 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 2nd.  This is going to be epic.  However, we've got to get some information so I can plan.

On THIS POST, even if you've already told me that you're coming, please RSVP with the following information:

- Are you bringing food? Yes, pumpkin pie (lemme know if I should make two!)
- Do you plan to stay at my house overnight? no
- Are you hoping for a carpool ride? Are you offering a carpool ride? From where? Don't need one.

- Yes, I will be coming. Looks like I won't have the friend along.
- I do have a gift for the Yankee Swap. Need to decide whether to wrap in fancy or plain paper.
- I plan to cook some meatballs and have them in a crock pot to stay warm.
- I plan to at least bring a change of clothes and pajamas in case it is safer that I stay over instead of drive home. Likelyhood of sleeping at Mijan's is high.
- I don't currently plan to carpool.

I was just told by a friend that she will be coming along. So add +1 for me.

This may reduce my likelyhood of staying over, but we'll see.

are you coming? I'd like to and strong possibility of yes. I'm planning on attending a New Year Eve party in Des Moines (runs Th-Sun) so depends if I stay/leave DM Sat

Yankee gift swap? Hmm, don't know. would need to pick up gift if coming, have an idea for one

food? since I would be driving in from out of town, I'd probably pick up munchies (chips, chocolate, or some such), maybe a surprise or two

stay overnight? hmm, overnight means EtOH consumption possible, i'll have change of clothes and sleeping bag in car so possible

carpool? since I would be coming one way from Iowa, I'd say not likely. Since I'd at least be stopping by home to drop my dog off before party, could possibly pick up one person in town if they need a ride

eats? I eat just about anything

Actually, we have someone coming FROM Des Moines, Iowa. Take a look at the comment right above yours. Any chance you two could arrange something? Just an idea.

Yeah, I saw that. I probably wouldn't have room in the car (pretty tightly packed from my holiday trip) and if I did make room (might be possible) they would still need to get a ride back to Des Moines. I'll keep an eye on the posts and see what develops.

Do you plan to stay at my house overnight? No (not a good idea with the whole on-call thing. pager going off at 5:30am would make me very unpopular)
Are you hoping for a carpool ride? No, I'll manage that. I wish I could offer rides, but not even knowing for sure that I can come, it's just not a good idea to offer.
