Super long time no see
Does anybody even use this any more? I'm here because I need to voice. Lots has changed but much remains the same. Kind of like history. Same but different.
The kids are grown. Kayci turns 20 in a few days, yes, 20. I know I can't believe it either. CJ is 14 four months shy of 15. That little boy in my profile pic is no longer a little boy. Boo is 22 5 months shy of 23. Boo is in college, her senior year. She is pursuing journalism and has a part-time gig as an editor and writer for the local newspaper in the town where she lives. I am no longer a medic. I'm still trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up. For the moment I am in college pursuing a carrier in Aerospace technology. Basically, if I finish, I will work in clean rooms and build satellites. I don't know, it's something to do that doesn't involve people. I still feel lost. I've been doing therapy for 2 years now and while it has kept me away from the edge, the temptation is still there. I'm still in pain but at least I'm not lifting people anymore. Chris graduated and is a mechanical engineer. She makes good money and bought me a palace with a pool. She isn't happy with the place where she works but is looking to improve.
I just wanted to come back and walk around a bit. I don't do facebook or linkin or whatever. We'll see how things go.
