The New Year's Trilogy I
I went home to Guelph with Kelly and Kristen for the new years, except that Kristen left on New Years eve to be with Will, but it was still nice having her.
We got to Guelph on the 29th, and we went to square one on the 30th and shopped the whole day, came back with really nice stuff too! We all had Japanese breakfast, which was a nice change too. My mom brought from Japan a true plum wine, which was sooo much different from the one from LCBO, so much better than that.
Anyways, on the 31st, Kelly went to bed really early because she was just exhausted, and I had to exchange the train ticket, which I will explain later. So I did exchange the ticket, and headed over to Anne's place, because after neglecting to see my Guelph friends for so long, this is the least I can do. I saw pretty much everyone and more: Sarah, Anne, Erica, Rachel, Brian, Jamie.... I didn't see Ben though, which was kinda disappointing.
The following day I phoned Jane, and we had a short but pleasant conversation. It was exciting to see everyone getting excited to see me, which was really nice. I felt welcomed home and it was a nice feeling, for sure.
Anyways, Happy New Years to Everyone, especially to those who I rarely get to see. I shall make more effort trying to make my way back to Guelph sometime soon.
