Thermodynamics = Brutal

Oct 07, 2005 22:15

I just came back from the University having done literally 4 hours of Maple assignment, which is still not finished, but doesn't matter, because it's not due till Tuesday.

What's more brutal is that last night, I was up till 3:30 in the morning DOING THERMODYNAMICS ASSIGNMENT that was due today. Let me tell you how long it took. I had started it a couple of days after it was assigned, that was last week. I got about 10 to 20% done until yesterday, when Mike and Matt and I decided to get together to work on it from 3. We sat down, started working (and we DID work). We decided to call it a night at 10:30. That's like more than 6 hours of straight work. For ONE fucking assignment. Did I finish the assignment by then? No...

There was a graph that I had to do, which I did when I got home and after did a little more of other questions. At about 3 in the morning, of course when my brain was totally damaged by consequences of thermodynamics, I did the graph. It turns out that I did the computation wrong, and I picked that up after handing in the assignment, and did so by looking at the formula for the graph for 3 seconds. Gah that pisses me off.

But the good news is, that when Mike, Matt and I get together, it works so much better than me working alone for 10+ hours. I might have to do that for subatomics physics assignment, which is coming up. Another good new is, my workload is not as intense now that I got thermodynamics out of the way. Thank goodness
