Turkey Reunion Extravaganza

Well, my whole family is in North Carolina for Thanksgiving, and we're here. I'm not entirely sure why we didn't go. Perhaps it had to do with work, or maybe my family is just lazy. However, I think I'll still enjoy myself this year, and reflect on how lucky I really am. It amazes me to hear adults say how they would hate growing up in today's society. I think we live in exciting times! If I had to grow up in the 70s I think I'd kill myself - I despise that decade. I suppose I am thankful for that.

Yesterday was a great day! Dave picked me up from school because my car was getting work done, and we did a bunch of things, eventually meeting up with Laura, Brian, Sharon, and Brian at the mall. After a magical reunion, or something, we went to the new Borders bookstore and immersed ourselves in the many resources available to us including movies, music, books, magazines, and the coffee shop. Then we all went to Brian's house and talked for a bit. Hopefully we can practice on Saturday. Just to play together for an hour or so would be awesome. Happy Thanksgiving!
