Epic Sasha

I have written a fanfic. This will be entertaining for those of you who are in the D&D group and are familiar with all of our goings-on, and quite possibly undecipherable for anyone else. Enjoy!

Epic Sasha
Sasha was quickly realizing that Houston's secret semi-annual Furcon had been a secret for a reason. The convention hall was filled with people who felt a connection with our animal friends and wanted to "get in touch with nature". This seemed to involve not bathing for days or possibly even weeks at a time if she were to judge by the scent wafting through the air at the moment. Sasha reached into her bag and pulled out a piece of candy, thinking that perhaps the taste of chocolate-covered bacon would distract her senses away from the current nasal onslaught. She needed to get out of here.

As she made her way towards the exit her mind wandered back to the time that she had ruined the life of an innocent pizza delivery man, stealing his pen and thus also his livelyhood with one simple mistake. She knew deep inside that the poor, hardworking man would never be the same, and that his children's medical bills would go unpaid because of her carelessness. She shook her head in an attempt to dislodge these idle thoughts, trying to focus on the task at hand, but she knew that the guilt the she felt would haunt her for the rest of her days.

Finally making her way to the door of the convention hall, she squinted into glare of the sunlight that seared her retinas as she stepped outside. She inhaled deeply, drawing the fresh air into her lungs in an attempt to wash away the filth of the furries that had collected inside of them. However, she caught a slight whiff of desperation and sweat even out here, and she turned to find that one of the creatures from the convention floor had followed her outside!

He was definitely tall and dark, but she couldn't tell if he was handsome or not because he was covered in a ratty fursuit, with nothing of the man inside revealed to her gaze. Sasha stuttered slightly as she attempted to distract him with a witty greeting, "W-what's up, dude?" The furry did not seem interested in conversation however, as he wordlessly advanced, his hands reaching out towards her. Luckily, she had recovered the golf club that the convention staff had attempted to confiscate from her upon entering the con, and with one mighty swing, her new furry friend was laying on the ground, out cold. She didn't remember why she had brought the club in the first place, but now she was glad that she had.

Making her way to her car without any further events, Sasha settled into the driver's seat and sped off into the sunset. Upon arriving home she immediately retired to her computer, relaxing in front of her desk and watching once again what she considered the greatest cinematic achievement in the history of mankind, that beautiful fat man consuming a massive block of cheese. She giggled uncontrollably on into the night, replaying the video again and again in order to wash away the memories of that day's traumatic events. She promised herself that she would never make the mistake of going to a furcon again...well, at least not that furcon.
