So the idiot nurse practitioner (I know that's not how it's spelled, at this point, I don't CARE) thinks I have some sort of "flu-type" viral infection. At least I think that's what she said. She mentioned flu, viral infection, and something about it not REALLY being the flu but a...a type or some crap, I didn't really understand it. My brain was too muddled at the time. Hell, it's still muddled. She precribes this stuff that if you take it within the first 48 hours of getting the flu, supposed to cut down the days of it or something. This is how it went after taking it after waking up at about 7:30.
Oh look, side effects are nausea and vomitting. I'll just take some pepto. Wow, not feeling so good, I'll take a shower at the VERY loud protests of my mother, but hot showers comfort me more than anything, and I really want to get clean. Oh wow, moving around isn't working so well, every time I do I feel like my stomach wants to come up. Okay, better hurry it up. All done, better get out quickly and dry off to avoid exposure and -
Yeah, that didn't work out so well. The side effects finally caught up to me the MOMENT I stepped out. I didn't even really eat much today, but I think I spotted bright red stuff and dark red stuff. Except...what I did eat didn't involve anything red. So yay, it looks like I puked up blood! My stomach hurts now. Why am I taking these pills again. I think I'd be happier waiting to see if it actually IS the flu then just taking medicine to stave off the symtoms instead of dealing with side effect crap. It's all a bunch of catch 22's anyway.
I hate pills.
