[ Not too long after Miguel makes his announcement, Jade heads down toward the tea room. She had been holed up in her (now gross, grungy, and totally not as awesome anymore) bedroom for most of the day trying to decide on what to do.

NOT ANYMORE. Once she gets there she kicks open the tea room door with her foot, rifle in hand, and waves it at Miguel. ]

[Perhaps it is wrong to be this happy to see a child wielding a gun, but in all honesty he feels safer with her here.]

Jade! I'm so glad to see you're alright.

[He drops his sword and sweeps her up in a hug, lifting her slightly off the ground in the process. Once he drops her, he seizes her shoulders and leans in seriously.]

Has anything happened? Has anyone been nasty to you?

Uh, no! I haven't talks to a lot of people yet. Not with this game going on.

[ Rabbit Doubt. That really was a perfect name for this. When she saw the network posts talking about it, she didn't believe it. She didn't want to believe it. But, this was Wonderland. Anything was possible. ]

So it's safe here? [ Not once did the thought What if he is a wolf? go through her mind. ]

[Miguel nods.] Just don't touch anything rusty and we should all be fine. Seems these...cabinet thingies work like the closets did. We can just hide out here until it's over.

Oh that's good! Maybe I should tell John and Dave and everyone. Unless they are coming here? Do you know?

It seems as if your amigos are keeping an eye on one another, I'm sure they'll be okay.

[He steps away, turning to a blanket on the floor. It's more or less acting as a picnic blanket at the moment-- Miguel's not too picky about cleanliness, but the rust makes him nervous. He gestures at the provisions he's gathered.

Look, Tulio, he saved some.]

[ That's a relief. If they are together than they should be completely safe. ] Good! I'll worry less if they have each other's backs.

[ Jade hadn't actually realized that she wanted to eat something until Miguel showed the food. She had been so nervous and busy pacing around that she completely forgot about things like eating. Even so, her appetite was completely shot. ]

Yeah. A little.

Good. Take whatever you like. It's good to keep your strength up.

[Not that he wants her having to fight anyone, but better to be strong enough to if the need does arise.]

I'll stay where you can see me so you won't worry...

[He's as likely as everyone else to be a wolf.]

[ Nope. We are not having any of that. She grabs him and makes him sit right next to her. ]

Don't worry I don't think you are one of the wolf people. [ If he was, he was a dumb wolf! Why make an announcement to tell people to come to a certain room? If they were found dead everyone would know it was him.

Of course, if he was a dumb wolf- no. No she doesn't want to think about it. ]

[He relaxes significantly as he settles in next to her.]
