So I've been playing Kirby and the Amazing Mirror for GBA. Its sort of hit and miss. About 50% of the abilities are like Super Star where they have a variety of moves, and 50% are like the original kirby where they only do one thing. Overall the game is good, if a bit easy. But it simply can't compare with Super Star.
However, Amazing Mirror introduces what is perhaps the coolest new ability in the game, a new attack given to the fighter power.
