ok, so i finally got back from california, had a really good time. i updated the site with some pictures, its a nice little trip tutorial. i think the only thing i left out was the gas chamber and pictures from the sub. ive only got about ten minutes so this will have to be quick... im about to go golfing with some pals. ive gotta practice if im going to be playing with the likes of tdub and castboy, not to mention mullality and i noticed even snarl has been hitting the links.
i think i have time for one anecdote, but there are many more, but this may be my favorite. so i was in sandiego finishing up a killer volleyball sesh so i had to shower off the sand before grabing a bite to eat. on the way back i notice a guy sitting down and im thinking to myself, why is rollwagen wearing my shoes. double take. its not rollwagen, just some creepy beach bum dude and he has my shoes on. some of you may know, but probably most of you dont, that rod laver tennis shoes by adidas are the premeir shoe of the footbag community.triple take. not to mention the shoes, he has them laced in the profession footbag style which is way too complicated to elucidate in words. needless to say i know this guy can hack. so what do i do? walk over there. me- "you wanna hack?" beach dude: so there i am on pacific beach (PB) boardwalk hackin it up with this pro who is probably 50 and has all the moves to let me know he has been around the block afew times. after sharing a few moments together engaged in the hack, i decide to jet but not before i thank him and pull out some good moves for the road. as i leave i notice another excited head not as if to say "goodbye. thanks for the killer hack, dude, that was fun." it was precisely at this time that i realized the guy was mute. or was at least crazy enough to not speak to humans. so now i will always remember the the mute hacker from PB
also, over the weekend, on a car ride, kyle and i cured some boredom with some lists kevbo/cusak style.
