when walking back from a classroom where you put in some good manhours laboring over a computer progrum and it is raining outside and you want a spiritually enlightening experience, may i suggeset Sigur ros and their untitled track number three, from their albumn (). The cacoon provided by the hood of the jacket i was wearing created an evelope that allowed me to wear my headphones unsuspectingly. I could see the rain but all i could hear was icelandic manna-music that almost brought me to tears. Because the phones were covered by the hood i had trouble remembering where the music was coming from and it seemed like my own soundtrack, i just diddnt know what scene i would cut to next.
to wrap up...
-ok, that may have been overdoing it, or too emo, but it meant a lot to me, and i learned that next time i think im in a bad situation i will remember that something good can always come out of it.
-music is very powerful.
-maybe i should look into some bjork or something cause these icelanders know what they are doing.
