So...tonight was amazing.

It started with a little nervousness on my part. Ok, I lied...ALOT of nervousness on my part. But, around 7:20, I picked Kendal up (who looked GORGEOUS) and we headed over to West Virginia to go out for Valentine's Day (two days late).

We get to Olive Garden and enjoy our meal. (Side-note for Kendal: Did we ever decide on nature, or nurture? ;) ) Kendal had fetticini alfredo, I had something...uhh, I forget what it was, but it was cheese in a pasta shell...kinda' like an Italian burrito.

After that we drove around Ashland (back in Kentucky) looking for this little gazebo I wanted to take Kendal to. But, not being able to find it, I bought gas and headed back towards good ol' Grayson.

We headed down to a little spot overlooking part of Grayson Lake, and from there I broke out the sparkling white grape juice and wine glasses. Toasting, I told Kendal about how awesome the past three months and ten days had been, and how much she meant to me. I told her that I truly had never felt like this about anyone, and then I looked her in the eyes, and with every bit of fiber in my being, uttered a phrase that echoes throughout my heart daily...

"I LOVE YOU"

Kendal responded affirmativly, which took a huge load off of my mind. We finished our "champagne" and sat there for a while...just psending time with one another.

We've decided that this relationship is no longer about learning more about one another. We are aiming to fall deeper in love and, as a major goal, at marriage. I'll appreciate everyone's prayers that God would continue to bless us like He already has...

I'm so happy right now. But I'm off to read my Bible and hit the hay. I need to pack tomorrow and get my room cleaned up.

God bless y'all...

Kendal Rae Scott, I love you...you make my world beautiful...
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. - 1 Corinthians 13:8 (NIV)
