***Enfant Terrible - Seagull***

These hot newcomers set the scene on fire in Paris, France. Electro-Rock packed with plenty of blips and bleeps, you're sure to love this one. 2008 - I have fallen in love with this band. My pick of the year.

***The Killers - Human***

Whats a best of list without the genious of Brandon Flowers and his envelope pushing band, The Killers? The Las Vegas band released their new album 'Day And Age' this fall, and we were not disappointed!

***Vampire Weekend - Oxford Comma***

I don't have any music on my ipod that is quite like Vampire Weekend; rock with hints of folk and a definite 60s feel. No, me being mainly an electro-rock fan, I normally dont dabble in a genre like this, but with clever lyrics and catchy tunes - who can resist Vampire Weekend?

***The Ting Tings - Thats Not My Name***

Oh yeah!!! Can't wait to see these guys in action at Ultra Music Festival in 2009!!! Since The Sounds decided to tour for the last two years or so without making any new music, I have replaced the with The Ting Tings!!!

***Shiny Toy Guns - When Will The Story End***

Its not secret that Shiny Toy Guns dissappointed fans all over the globe when they replaced Ms. Carah Faye with Sisely Treasure, and who could blame them. Still the shinys managed to redeem their lost respect with a few very strong songs from their new album 'Season Of Poison'. 'When Will the Story End' is my pick off the album.

***Kid Kudi - Day N Night (Crookers Remix)***

Dancefloor Shaker. Period. After such a positive crowd reaction when playing this jam at a few gigs over the summer, I wasn't suprised to hear this one even get some radio play in Miami.

***Hot Chip - Ready For The Floor***

Another Dancefloor Shaker... Hot Chip has always been help lead the way for Electro-Pop lovin... and this song proves it.

***Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl***

No one was able to resist the guilty pleasures of 2008 pop sensation who made the world a little more curious about bisexuality. From 'Ur So Gay' to 'Hot N Cold', Katy Perry's new album is nothing more than mainstream pop perfection.

***Beck - Gamma Ray***

One of my personal favorites, Beck makes my favorite tunes list EVERY YEAR. He's come a long way since 'Loser'. There is a special place in the Rock N Roll hall of fame for Mr. Beck.

***Jason Mraz - Im Yours

You can't deny the fact that Jason Mraz has been fairly consistent with his music over the years. I've been waiting for that perfect song from him, and this.... is it!

***M.I.A - Paper Planes***

Brittish electro-popper turned hip-hip-hopper made that one song that everyone could get down to in 2008. Everyone in this country and all over the world was bangin this song as lound as possible at one point this year!

***Eric Hutchinson - Rock N Roll***

With lyrics that sum up people's lives in large cities everywhere, whats not to like about Eric Hutchinson's 'Rock N Roll'? This one is simply the feel good anthem of 2008.

***MGMT - Electric Feel***

I have total confidence that this song with show up in favorite 2008 song lists everywhere... MGMT deserves the spot, with a undeniably distinct and contagious sound. 2008 saw a lot, and I mean A LOT, of remixes of MGMT.
