I was movie-goin' girl this vacation...
...and saw "Up in the Air" on Saturday night. I wasn't all that excited to see it, since George Clooney never really did much for me, but figured going to the movie and then out for dessert was better than sitting home alone.
In a word, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I had heard that Clooney's performance outshone everyone else's, but, in my opinion, all the characters were very well-portrayed. It was thought-provoking but not in a "change the world" sort of way, being a more focused, personal story rather than trying to solve for world peace, as it were. Afterwards, we discussed the movie almost non-stop between bites of sinfully delicious chocolate mousse cake. In all, a most pleasant evening!
Are there any other good movies out there, peeps? If so, let me know - it's quite cold for Atlanta so indoor activities ideas will be welcome!
