As time goes on I am liking her more and more. I was up last night till 12:30 am watching her top 20 videos on FUSE TV (a gaga thon, which I could of watched later at a decent hour). And her interviews were good too! Many of the videos I had not seen. The production on most of these videos is awesome!
I really like BTW! It's a solid album of 80's style dance pop. Another winner for Gaga in my eyes. :)
Everybody seems to love or hate the album. I think it's more of people projecting their love/hate for Gaga and not separating their feelings of her as a person from the music. One of the things I love about Gaga is how she has created herself into a larger-than-life icon. But that aspect of her persona sometimes tends to overshadow the fact that the woman can sing/write and has raw musical talent.
hating is silly. BTW: 99 cent download of the album from Amazon today!
When I criticize her, I do it on specific points where I feel she failed to deliver musically. Just as I would criticize a favorite author who I felt did not deliver with her latest book.
So, after all that, don't tell me you didn't watch the SNL finale on Saturday, or did you not know that she was the musical guest? Not only that, but Justin Timberlake was the host. When he hosts, the show is always great and Saturday's show was no exception. Lady Gaga was also in several skits as well as an SNL Digital Short which will have you in stitches. You can probably watch it on HULU or just google SNL and you'll find links.
More often that not, SNL puts me to sleep, at least in these latter years, but not Saturday. Gaga did two numbers Judas and Born This Way, and in true Gaga fashion, she didn't just stand in front of a mic.

My two cents. :D
