Actually, when I got to looking, there's a bunch of great conventions coming up...but none near us, unfortunately.
One of the coolest is Xanadu in Las Vegas, April 17-19. But there's also MiniCon in Minnesota, April 10-12; Pikes Peak Writer's Conference, April 24-26; WisCon in Wisconsin, May 22-25; the World Science Fiction Convention in Montreal, August 6-10; and the World Fantasy Convention in Calgary?, Oct 30-Nov 2. If I were rich, I'd attend ALL OF THEM!
Sigh--as it is, it'll cost me dearly just to mail advertising cards to all of them --LOL
