Fringe, I Love You

Jan 22, 2011 02:45

I must be a masochist. Another week that Fringe makes me cry. Well, I really do love my angst.
But this show is doing it so well. It's subtle, and it feels real. Both Olivia and Peter are so heartbroken. Its painful but is beautiful at the same time, if that makes sense. They keep working together because its what they have to do. They both are the only ones who can save the world. So they have to let their problems aside. But at the same time the pain is there, in the faces of both, and they feel helpless because they can't make time go back and fix everything. Like Olivia said, and I think Peter feels the same, they already lost the possibility of sharing all the things they wanted to as if it was the first time. And Peter wants Olivia to understand that everything he already did, he wanted it to be with her, and he lost that chance too.

Right now Peter is suffering so much, the burden of being the potential responsable for the end of the world, even when he doesn't want to destroy either of both worlds. And the only way to stop that is his own death.

Josh was absolutely amazing on "The Firefly". He was so subtle in showing Peter's emotions, but you knew they were there, in his eyes.

All I know is if the show kills Peter, even if it is in the last episode of the serie, Im going to cry endlessly. And then hunt TPTB.
