So, I have a dilemma- I’ve got my schedule all worked out until like December, I have most nights and weekends off… hold up. Here it is so you can see for yourselves what I mean.
Monday
8-12 admissions
12:30-1:45 dance
3:45-5 concert band
7-9 casco bay (only until oct. 23)

Tuesday
9-10:45 french
1-2 SSET III

Wednesday 8-12 admissions
12:30-1:45 dance
2:30-3:30 lesson
3:45-5 concert band

Thursday
9-10:45 french
1-2 sset
7-9:30 history

Friday
9-11 perc ens
11-12:30 recital class
12:30-1:30 IAJE
2:30-4 (sometimes) BSO meetings

Saturday
(every other week) 10:30am

So my schedule is pretty sweet right now, but I don’t have that much money. I don’t really make that much money, working only 8 hours a week at admissions.
I just got offered a job working at a really fun place; (don’t laugh) Maplewood Dance Center. They’d only pay 7-8 dollars an hour; and it’s Wednesday nights, Friday nights and Saturday nights, 7pm-12am.
Is this worth it? I’ll miss out on some concerts, and if I get asked to do any more theatre gigs I’ll have to turn them down. And…. I have to work on New Year’s Eve.
But this place would be a really fun job, and it would keep me from wasting time in the Old Port on weekends… and I guess making money from random gigs every once in a blue moon isn’t enough, although fun. But if I take this job, I'll only have Sundays and Tuesday afternoons off, ever. So.. I don’t know. I just feel like my opinion isn’t strong enough, so could you guys give me yours? Should I accept the dance job?
I need advice.
Thanks!
=)
